Dr. Margaret Hutka is a Senior Clinical Research Fellow in the Gastrointestinal and Lymphoma Unit at the The Royal Marsden Hospital in London, UK.
She graduated in medicine at the Silesian University School of Medicine in Poland and gained her MD in 1999. She attended the Flims Workshop Methods in Clinical Cancer Research in 2002, passed the ESMO exam in 2007 and gained the Polish Board Certification in Medical Oncology in 2008. She has an MSc in Health Policy, Planning and Financing at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
Her major clinical and research interest is ovarian and gastrointestinal cancers. She has been co-investigator in several phase II-III trials and is responsible for design and development of clinical trial protocols and trial coordination.
Dr. Hutka is a member of a number of societies, including the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the Polish Society for Clinical Oncology.
